CloseBot V1 Was a Game-Changer—V2 Takes It to a Whole New Level. CloseBot V1 has been a massive success, currently booking over 10,000 appointments per week—and that number keeps growing. It’s already making agencies look like heroes to their clients. Now, CloseBot V2 is about to raise the bar even higher with powerful, white-labeled AI Agents designed to drive even more value—and revenue—for your agency.
Let’s take a closer look at what makes CloseBot special, and how V2 is set to make your life easier, your offering stronger, and your clients happier.
White-Labeled AI Agents in CloseBot V2
To start, here’s how the new V2 white-labeled AI Agents work. You’ll notice a few important differences from V1. We’ll walk you through those updates and show you how they’ll streamline your workflow and boost profitability.
Building AI Agents in V2
In CloseBot V2, creating an agent is simple: you connect a Persona to an AI Workflow.
As the agency owner, only you (or your team) can create and edit these AI Agents. The businesses you serve will not build their own agents—instead, they’ll be able to:
- Fill in variables that you predefine
- Upload content to their knowledge base
This gives them just enough control to personalize their agent—without risking any of the core logic.
Personas: Controlling Voice, Tone & Behavior
Personas define the style and behavior of your agents. As you see above, you’ll manage a roster of personas, each with customizable settings like:
- AI provider (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, etc.)
- Message formatting and tone
- Typo frequency and clarifying instructions
- Agent name and image
This follows the same strategic direction used by platforms like OpenAI and Anthropic in their own interfaces 👏
AI Workflows: What the Agent Does
AI Workflows define the tasks your agents perform. When you combine a Persona with a Workflow, you’ve got a fully functional AI Agent.
Workflows in V2 are built with CloseBot Variables, similar to HighLevel’s custom variables. These let you personalize each subaccount’s agent without creating a new one from scratch.
Example:
Say you build an agent that books appointments for gyms. Each gym has different amenities. Instead of creating multiple agents, you define a variable called amenities. When a gym logs into their white-labeled dashboard, they’ll be prompted to enter their amenities, personalizing their agent in just a few clicks.
Key Differences: V1 vs. V2
If you used V1 as a Super User, here’s what’s new in V2:
- Only agencies can build and edit agents (previously bots)
- Business sub-accounts can personalize, but not create agents from scratch
Why This Change?
- Businesses Don’t Want to Build Agents After reviewing usage data and polling top resellers, one thing was clear: most business users prefer not to mess with agent-building. They want it to work out of the box—with light customization. Giving them limited editing power keeps things simple and avoids accidental breakages.
- CloseBot Supports, Not Competes We’re here to empower you—the agency owner—not compete with you. Most businesses don’t have the time or skills to build agents. They need a trusted expert like you to guide them. These businesses are your ideal clients: low churn, high lifetime value.
For business owners who do want full control, they can sign up for a CloseBot Business Account—ideally through your affiliate link, so you still benefit.
Keeping Clients Engaged (and Retained)
When you rebill businesses under your agency, they get access to their own dashboard designed to show off their agent’s performance. These dashboards are built to excite and engage, showing off meaningful metrics and success trends that make your clients want to stick around.
Your Sub-Accounts Migrating from V1 to V2
There are two types of subaccounts you may have that want to migrate:
1. Agencies That Want V2 Access (Who are Currently A Sub-Account)
By default, the V2 migration option won’t appear in V1 to protect your white label. But in your V1 settings, you will soon be able to enable the migration button and add your V2 affiliate link to earn from any agency under you that upgrades.
Once migrated, these agencies will become independent CloseBot customers and will need to choose a V2 plan to activate their account.
2. Businesses You Support
If you’ve used V1 as intended and have businesses under your white label, you can request a no-downtime migration via the support chat in your dashboard. Our dev team will handle it manually to ensure everything transfers smoothly.
Once migrated, you can enable rebilling for these accounts in V2. Businesses will retain their limited access—customizing variables and uploading knowledge base content, but not editing core agent logic.
