We’ve completely reimagined CloseBot with our V2 release to make it easier for you to build AI Agents and drive revenue for your business. Additionally, our pricing model is being updated with brand-new usage-based billing. However, our subscription costs will remain unchanged. The best part? For those of you who already have a CloseBot account, your base pricing is not going to be affected!

We now have three base plan types:

1. Free Plan for anyone wanting to check out CloseBot with limited features and no commitment, this is for you
2. Business Plans are designed for companies using AI Agents for themselves (You cannot re-bill and have lower usage costs)
3. Agency Plan is perfect for companies creating and re-billing AI Agents to clients (You can re-bill and have slightly higher usage costs)

Ultimately, the goal is to have paid accounts only pay for what they need. This keeps base costs affordable while allowing for growth. Let’s take a closer look at specific billing features so you can have a better idea of what each cost means to you and how this change makes it possible for you to optimize revenue.

Choosing the Best Base Plan for Your Company

There are plans for all business and agency shapes and sizes.  If you’re a business or agency selling or using AI Agents in your CRM for lead qualification and booking, CloseBot is for you.

Free Plan:
This is the perfect plan for any business or agency that wants to try out CloseBot. You can start building your own custom agent today with no fee or commitment.

Business Plans:
If you’re using Agents for your own company, a Business account is your best bet. We’ve kept it simple:

• $64/month: 1 fully-featured Agent with live chat support enabled
• $197/month: Need 3 Agents? Got you covered
• $297/month: Scale up to 10 Agents
• $397/month: Go wild with unlimited Agents

Agency Plan:
If you’re creating Agents for clients and want to add to your margin, our Agency account is perfect. You’ll pay one monthly rate (save 17% if you go annual), and you’ll be able to white-label the platform. As businesses under your white label incur usage, you will earn income through re-billing at your own markup rates for clients.

• $397/month: Sell and re-bill usage on unlimited Agents for unlimited sources

But What About V1 Plans?

We have matched up the base features of the V1 and V2 plans. You will not be paying any more for the base plan in V2 compared to what you paid with V1. Your account will be placed into the corresponding V2 base plan according to the number of bots your V1 plan provided. Keep in mind, you don’t have to migrate if you don’t want to. Below is a visual to help you understand where V1 plans align with our new plans.

For example:

• If you have the V1 Basic User plan and click to migrate to V2, you’ll be moved into a Business (1 Agent) plan.
• If you have the V1 Standard User plan and click to migrate to V2, you’ll be moved into a Business (3 Agent) plan.
• If you have the V1 Super User plan and click to migrate to V2, you’ll be moved into a V2 Agency plan.

It’s very important to understand the “add-on” costs in V2 are going to be extra.  Read more about usage costs below. (Special Note For Agency Plans: You have the ability to re-bill the usage costs)

How Usage Costs Work

The usage costs are there to keep the base price low and allow you to make more revenue for your business or agency as you scale.  There are three different usage costs to keep in mind:

Message Responses

This is the main ongoing cost – think of it as paying for CloseBot’s hard work per message to guide your Agent(s). However, this does not include the token costs that you incur from AI providers like Anthropic and OpenAI. CloseBot V2 requires that you use your own API key(s) and does not cover any of your AI provider costs.

For Free Plans:
You are limited to a 500 message ceiling cap per month (included at no cost from CloseBot) but can pay as you go for $0.04 per message over that amount.

For Business Plans:
Your message limit on any paid business plan is 2,000 messages. You can pay more monthly to increase that monthly ceiling. The higher you raise the ceiling, the more you get to take advantage of bulk pricing. Having an exceptional month? Not a problem! If you go over your ceiling cap, you pay per message with a 2x overage rate. This gets drawn from your wallet.

For Agency Plans:
We’ve kept it simple – you pay $0.006 per message, and you can set whatever markup you want when billing your clients. They have a wallet they top up to cover your usage costs (their wallet payments pay directly to you through your Stripe account). You have a wallet to cover your base usage costs to CloseBot (your wallet payments pay directly to CloseBot). The marked up amount you set up within your Agency account is your profit!

Knowledge Library Storage

Your Agents likely need to pull knowledge from a library of documents and websites, and we’ve revamped how this works in V2. Keep in mind, we only charge for the actual text content size of an upload. Therefore, even if you upload videos (will be supported soon), we’ll just bill for the transcript. For context, 1MB of text is the equivalent of about 1,000 pages of text 😳

For Free Plans:
You are restricted to 1MB and it’s not possible to increase your storage.

For Business Plans:
Come with 1MB included. Need more? You can select add-on storage to fit your business. Prices range from $0.10 to $3.00 per MB per month depending on how much you need. It’s cheaper the more you need.

For Agency Plans:
You’ll pay $0.006 per MB per day, and like with messages, you can set your own markup when billing clients (another way to drive revenue!).

User Seats

For Free Plans:
Limited to one user. No exceptions

For Business Plans:
One user is included in the base plan and is $5 per additional user.

For Agency Plans:
One user is included in the base plan and is $5 per additional user. Agencies can mark this up too when billing clients.

Token Re-Billing – Bonus Revenue Generator for Agencies

CloseBot doesn’t charge you anything extra for your AI Provider token usage, but this is also something that you can re-bill to your subaccounts.  You choose whether you want to bill subaccounts based on token markup, message markup, or a combination of both!

Simply put, CloseBot users do serious volume. We want to make sure we can scale as you do so we can continue to provide you with the most reliable system available AND we want you to be able to re-bill, making more profit yourself. Period.
