The Anthropic AI Agent framework is taking the world by storm for their ability to conversationally qualify leads and book appointments at scale. Many of these tools are built using CloseBot. The Anthropic AI Agent Framework – Workflows and Agents

Anthropic states in the article above “Consistently, the most successful implementations weren’t using complex frameworks or specialized libraries. Instead, they were building with simple, composable patterns”.  The article goes on to state that there are two types of implementations in today’s world of AI. There are AI workflows and AI agents. The most successful AIs use both of these principles.

Workflows

As an agency owner yourself, you understand workflows. After something happens… do something else. This is the cornerstone of automations and it’s used in AI as well. Agents

In contrast to workflows, agents are capable of “understanding complex inputs, engaging in reasoning and planning, using tools reliably, and recovering from errors.” CloseBot uses agents and workflows in tandem. With agentic flows, the AI is able to make its own decisions. Examples of CloseBot using this include CloseBot updating CRM contact fields and booking and rescheduling appointments.
