You’ve heard us talk about CloseBot V2 for about 18 months now.  This has been a massive project, but many are curious about what exactly V2 is and how it will be different from V1.  Fair enough… many people have built their primary product offering around CloseBot and have seen massive increases in their revenue because of this product.  It’s only natural that you would want any kind of insight into what the future holds and how it affects you.

No Agency Sub-Accounts

The first change worth mentioning right away is that there will be no more sub-accounts where agencies will be able to provide CloseBot to other agencies.  This is similar to how HighLevel works.  One HighLevel agency can’t give someone access to a HighLevel agency under them and allow them to build and re-bill sub-accounts.  All sub-accounts under a CloseBot account will have lightweight edit access of bots.  Only users at the origin agency level will be able to use the drag and drop builder to build bot flows.

If you’re currently under a different CloseBot agency, now may be the time to grab your own CloseBot account.  Prices on our annual plans will be increasing at least one more time prior to the release of V2.  Purchasing an annual plan now locks you into that lower pricing tier for good.

Focus on Scalability

With CloseBot V1 we focused solely on the quality of the AI.  This has allowed us to take the lead when it comes to having reliable, useful AI Agents that qualify leads and book appointments with consistency.  We haven’t spent the time to implement features like the ability to change your account email, add users, re-bill usage, edit knowledge documents or auto-generate bot connections.  We have heard you loud and clear, you want these things!

While features like the ones mentioned above take a lot of work to implement, it’s been done before.  Rather than focus our energy on implementing known features for V1, we ignored them entirely so we could focus all of our energy on the unknowns of cracking the code of AI Agents.

Account Profile Updates

We understand the frustration with the Legacy CloseBot version, not being able to update your email or other profile information.  This will be possible in V2 along with other security settings and eventually site language preferences.

Manage Users

Legacy CloseBot doesn’t have the ability for you to add users to your account.  This means you have to share your password if you want others to be able to access your account.  Not ideal!  This will be fixed with CloseBot V2.  You will be allowed to add users and even set their permissions and set which sources you want them to be able to view.

A source is a place where messages are coming from.  Upon initial rollout, we will support GoHighLevel sub-accounts, GoHighLevel Agencies, and web-hooks as possible sources

Edit Knowledge Documents

CloseBot V2 will finally give you the ability to edit existing text uploads 👏  Not only that, it will allow your sources (sub-accounts) to upload their own information for the bot knowledge.  Like I said, scalability is important to us with CloseBot V2.  We want your work as an AI Agent Agency to be as smooth as butter!

Ease of Setup

We are already quite proud of our easy setup, but we can do better.  CloseBot V2 will not have any workflows that need installed.  Instead, you will specify which tags you would like to be present on a contact to allow a bot to respond once the CloseBot V2 app is installed into that sub-account.  Any sources connected to this bot, for example, would only respond with the tag another-tag present and excluding contacts with the tag dnd.

Agency App

We are also proud to announce we will have an agency app that can be installed.  If you’re building an app for a HighLevel Agency that they want accessible to all sub-accounts under that agency, you can install the Agency App for them and current and all new sub-accounts will auto-connect to the bot with ZERO extra setup.

There’s much more information to come.  You’ll see updates from me on a more regular basis about the capabilities of V2 until the release!  At the time of writing, we hope to release CloseBot V2 at the end of March 2025.  Some users will start to gain access as early as this month (January) for early testing!
